Emplazado en un solitario paraje, cerca del R\u00edo Areco, ya las cr\u00f3nicas de viajeros daban cuenta de su existencia a finales del Siglo XVIII. Su importancia radica en que a pesar del paso de los siglos este boliche sigue cumpliendo las mismas funciones de anta\u00f1o. Esto es, ser el punto de reuni\u00f3n de los habitantes del campo, ya sea para abastecerse de mercader\u00edas como para enterarse de las \u00faltimas noticias del pueblo o bien para despuntar el vicio con una partida de bochas, de truco, o de villar.<br \/>Do\u00f1a Elsa, la pulpera rubia y de ojos celestes, le brindar\u00e1 detalles de la historia antigua de este boliche, a trav\u00e9s de la reja que la separa de los parroquianos, incluyendo las aventuras de Juana, la Cacica del Pueblo de los
